Sometimes you might need to find specific information within your chats. For cases like this, we have two different ways of searching through your messages. 

Global search

You can search all chats at once by typing a keyword into the search bar at the top of the chat menu. This will search through all existing chats.

This is a very simple search that searches for a word or phrase in the chat and then displays all messages that relate to this search term. Currently, you cannot navigate to the location of the search result of your choice in the chat. Simply view the messages in the search results.

Searching within an individual chat

Every opened chat has a little magnifier in the top right corner. Click it to search through your chat.

Clicking on the magnifier will open a small search bar. Here you can type in a keyword just like with the global search bar. Click the message you want to access to get there.
