If you need to keep an eye on a particular item, you can subscribe to it to receive notifications when changes are made!

Open the quick edit menu on an item (the vertical "..." icon in the top right-hand corner), or expand the item and click "..." in the top right-hand corner to open the actions menu.

Choose "Subscribe" to start receiving notifications about the item! Items you're subscribed to will have a subscription icon on them.

To unsubscribe, follow the same steps as above but click "Unsubscribe" instead ;)
