Using the dashboards it is now possible to personalize your home screen individually. You can easily add and move various widgets and get the perfect overview of all projects and progress.
On the dashboard itself, you can customize which projects and folders are included in the overview, and which organizations are included. You can also drag and drop all the widgets and resize them to your liking. Get an overview of all tasks concerned by simply clicking on one of the widgets.
Managing the organizations included in the dashboard
Just below the greeting at the very top of the home screen, you will see three grey buttons. The middle one will say "All Organizations" as all organizations your account is part of are included in the dashboard by default.
By clicking on it, you'll open a drop-down menu with all organizations. Choose the one, you'd like to see the widgets to.
The widgets will automatically adjust to the new setting. If you want to see all organization content collected on the dashboard again, you can use the same steps to open the menu again and click "All organizations".
Adding new Widgets
Widgets are added by clicking on the right of the three grey buttons labelled "Add Widget". Similar to the views or smart views, an overview with all available widgets will appear here. Select the one you want and click on "Create".
You can either view all available Widgets at once or choose from the sub categories listed on the left of the menu.
In addition to that you can manage even more details during this process. This includes choosing the corresponding projects, adding filter as well as setting a grouping or sorting for this widget.
Changing the size of widgets
To adjust the size of the different widgets, move the cursor to one of the corners of the widget to be adjusted. An arrow will appear. Click on it and drag the widget to the desired size. The mouse button should be held down continuously until the desired size is found. Release it when it is reached.
Accessing the widget settings
You can open the settings for each widget by moving the mouse over the corresponding widget. A settings icon appears in the upper right corner of the widget. Click on it to open the settings. On the right side of the Settings, you will always see a preview of the widget you are currently editing.
Removing widgets
Widgets can be deleted again via the settings. Open the settings as described above and scroll to the bottom of the settings menu. Then click "Remove widget".
