Your Zenkit profile manages how all Zenkit products appear to you - language, time and date settings, your login information, and more.


Accessing your Zenkit Profile

To access your Zenkit profile settings, simply click on the tiny icon within the navigation panel on the left of the screen. This will automatically open your Profile.


Name, Username, and Initials

Your full name, username and initials will be displayed at the top of the screen. To change them, simply tap in the field to start editing.

Note: If you are a member of an Organization (your company uses a Business plan), then you may not have the option to change your name and initials as the organization may manage them.



Email Settings

The email settings regulate the email address with which you can log in to your account. For most people, a single email address will be sufficient. If you want, you can add more addresses. Only the "Primary" email address will receive email notifications, though. Other email addresses simply allow you to log in with that address if you so choose.


Adding a new email address

To add another email address, tap or click in the "Add Email" field and type in the email address. You will receive a verification email to that address. Please click the link in that email to verify that you are the owner of that address. Once it's been verified, you will be able to log in using that address.

Until the verification link is clicked, the email will be marked as "Unverified" and you will not be able to log in with it. If you did not receive the verification email, click "Resend confirmation".

If the email is already in use by another account, you won't be able to add it, and you'll see an error message.

Note: This is not a way to add other users to your account. To add people to collaborate with, add them to a list or folder.


Changing the primary email address

Once your additional email address has been verified, you can use it as your primary email address. Click on the "Settings" button next to your new email address, then tap or click on 'Set as primary'. This will automatically switch your chosen email address to the primary email address. You will now receive notifications to this address instead of your original one.


Deleting an email address

You can delete an email address by clicking or tapping on it and then on "Delete". Tap or click "OK" to confirm. The primary email address cannot be deleted.


Language

Zenkit To Do currently supports 10 languages:



To change your language, tap on "Language" then choose the language you want to use from the list. Once you've chosen, you will be prompted to refresh.



Date and time format

All Zenkit products support multiple date formats, including the standard international date format.

To change your date and time formats, tap or click on Date Format to pick from the four options available. Tap or click on time to choose between the 24h or AM/PM format.


Start of the week

You also have the option to choose which day to display as the start of the week in the date picker or in the calendar view. To change this, tap or click on "Start of the week" to pick either Sunday or Monday.


Decimal format

Depending on the country you're in, the decimal format may by different. Zenkit enables you to choose between two common formats:

  • 123.456,789 (Common in Europe)
  • 123,456.789 (Common in English speaking countries and elsewhere worldwide)

You can access the decimal format settings by tapping or clicking on "Decimal Format" to change it.


Installed Apps and Integrations

Installed Apps will give you a list of all Zenkit Apps you have installed. You will see the word "Open" written on the right side of each app name.

With Integrations you can manage your integrations with Trello and Asana as well as generate a fresh API key.


Home Screen

With Home Screen you can decide which page you want to be landing on, straight after opening the application. By default, you will see our basic Zenkit start screen or the dashboard that you can switch to.



Sound and Items

Decide whether you want to be hearing a sound when new notifications are coming in. In case you don't want to be notified with a sound, deactivate the toggle with a simple click. A deactivated toggle will appear as grey, while the activated toggle is green.


 

In addition to that set if new items should be added to the top or bottom of your lists.
