A portfolio in Zenkit allows users to manage multiple projects, task lists, databases, and notebooks in one centralized view. This makes it easier to monitor progress, track key metrics, and streamline workflows across various teams and projects. Setting up a portfolio is a simple process that ensures you have complete oversight of your resources.

How to Create a New Portfolio

To create a portfolio in Zenkit, click the “+” icon within the navigation panel on the left side of the screen. Scroll through the menu and select “Portfolio” from the available options.



A new window will appear, prompting you to enter key details. Assing a clear descriptive name to your portfolio. The organization under which the portfolio is being created is displayed automatically. You can change the organization by simply clicking on the organization name.



Choose which types of resources you want to manage within the portfolio. The available options include project, tasklist, database and notebooks. Some options may be disabled based on permissions and availability.


You can also limit the portfolio to specific resources based on tags, manually select individual resources or manually pick specific ones. Additionally, you can choose resources that should be excluded from the portfolio. This step is optional.

Once all selections are made, click "Create" to finalize your portfolio setup. Your new portfolio is now ready, and you can start using it to monitor and manage your resources effectively.
