Access control is particularly helpful in lists that contain many members and tasks. Using this feature, you can now play back the contents individually for all members and also adjust their roles and rights.

You can control access via the access settings. To do this, open the list settings and click on "Access".

Another way to reach the access settings is to click on the small person icon on the right side of the list. Below all users, you will see "Manage Access". Clicking on it will take you directly to the access settings.

Here you will see a list of all collection members. By clicking on one of them, you can assign a new role or edit the member's access.

In the "Advanced" section you can then click on "Access Control". Here you can directly select which fields should be hidden or displayed or use a filter to display only certain items.

Please note that access control can only be set for members who have specific roles within the list. For access control, the member's role must be either an editor, a member, a commentator or a guest. Pure list members have access without restrictions.
