Zenkit's project management tool now includes enhanced project properties to help users better track and manage their projects. These properties provide key insights into project status, priority, ownership, budgeting, and task statistics.

They are now accessible under the "Settings" tab for improved usability.

Accessing Project Properties

Project Properties can be accessed via the project settings. Simply click the project or list name within your opened project.

Key Project Properties

Project Status

Status allows users to define the current phase of a project. We do offer multiple project statuses. You will see them listed below.

  • On track (Green): The project is progressing as expected.

  • At risk (Yellow): There are potential issues that need attention.

  • Off track (Red): The project has deviated significantly from the plan.

  • On hold (Blue): The project is temporarily paused.

  • Completed (Dark Green): The project is finished.

Each status update can include a message explaining the change and providing additional details.

Click "Status" to open the dropdown menu and choose the desired status from the collection. You will then be able to add even more details such as a description, links, images and more.

Priority

With Priority users can set the priority level of a project to indicate its importance:

  • High (Red): Critical projects requiring immediate attention.

  • Medium (Orange): Important but not urgent.

  • Low (Yellow): Lower priority tasks that can be scheduled later.

Priorities can help teams focus on critical projects first.

Project Owner

With Project Owner ownership can be assigned to a specific user responsible for overseeing the project. This also ensures accountability and clear point of contact.

Project Budget

Project Budget allows our users to define a budget for the project. This tracks allocated versus used budget to. ensure financial control.

Due Date

You might be quite familiar with setting due dates from within your list already. With due dates, users can set a specific date for the project using a calendar date picker. The date picker allows selecting a date and setting additional time or an end date if necessary. The date can easily be cleared, times can be specified and more. Click here to learn more about due dates.

Task Statistics

Task Statistics provides an overview of project progress through key metrics, including Total done tasks, Total open tasks, Total overdue tasks, Workload as well as Overdue tasks workload.

Task statistics provide valuable insights into project progress, helping teams track completed, open, and overdue tasks, manage workload distribution, and ensure timely completion of objectives.
